You get big caramel and toffee flavours from the malts and a big fruity punch (especially tangerine) from the English Ale yeast and English hops. The aroma has hints of Christmas cake (yes, really), dark fruits plus currants, prunes and dates and a touch of muscovado sugar.
Flavour wise it is smooth, soft and earthy and would be a perfect fireside pint after a winter walk!
